Established in 2023, Himmaleh Spirits is nestled at the base of the Himalayan foothills in Kashipur, India, amidst 4 acres of tiger preserve. Founded by Ansh Khanna and Samarth Prasad, this new distillery is focused on being a beacon of craft spirits in India.
Operating with a “farm to glass” aesthetic, these young spirt makers are already making waves on the international spirits scene. Along with established brands like Jin Jiji, the distillery has recently launched its new flagship Indian Gin called Kumaon and I.
The future for Himmaleh spirits is bright indeed.

This updated bottling of the classic Jin Jiji India Dry Gin uses the same indispensable Indian botanicals with a rice-based spirit at its core. Using a neutral spirit made of rice allows for more juniper punch to take point and be supported by the gin's supporting cast of chamomile, black tea, holy basil, and cardamom. Distillation has now been moved from Goa to their breathtaking new distillery in Kashipur India. Crafted with the gin and tonic in mind, you need look no further than Jin Jiji India Dry Gin.

Jin JiJi Darjeeling is our first Tea inspired variant, as Darjeeling is home to the most elegant and distinctive black tea in the world. The heart and soul of our “India Dry Gin” is wild Juniper, foraged from the Himalayas. Copper Pot distilled in Goa, Jin Jiji is the essence of India.

JIN JIJI HIGH PROOF DRY GIN 57.0% ABV
Jin JiJi High Proof is inspired by the Royal British Navy who during Colonial times first set a high proof requirement for gin being transported to India. As space is scarce on ships, the Navy preferred alcohol at higher strength as they could get more in a smaller space. A strength of 57% ensures that gunpowder isn’t contaminated in case of a spill.

KUMAON & I GIN 42.8% ABV
Kumaon & I pronounced "Ku-ma-on and I," is Himmaleh Spirits' first farm to glass gin. Made with botanicals and spices exclusively sourced from the province of Uttarakhand India, this is a 100% Himalayan Gin. The distillery has committed the local sourcing of these botanicals to be carried out by the women led cooperatives of the region. Full of cool peppercorn and floral juniper, this complex gin reflects the lush terroir of the Himalayan foothills.
